To really send a message

I found this picture among the many websites calling for a boycott of the Beijing Olympics. There are a lot of reasons people give for wanting a boycott, and many reasons protestors have been disrupting the torch ceremonies. Human rights violations and China's policy toward Tibet are two of the biggest. It seems to me a boycott, while it might be considered a moral victory for some, would ultimately not have much effect. Look at all the products that say Made in China next time you're shopping. Perhaps not buying these products would make a bigger impact. Just a thought.
