Not light reading

The book that was coming out, then wasn't, then was but the proceeds would go to the Goldmans is due out this month. Barnes and Nobel has decided to sell OJ Simpson's supposedly fictional account of the murders of his wife and Ron Goldman after initially saying it would only be sold online. Pre-sale is going well they say. The question is why? If you believe in OJ's innocence, then why read a hypothetical account of how he could have carried out the killings? If you believe he did it, well then it really seems gruesome to want to read his words. I guess Americans are intrigued by celebrities and crime, so put the two together and you've got a potential best seller. I hope decency prevails and it is a flop. There are plenty of other great books to read.
