Ooops

Well, it's been several days since my last update. Sorry. Been busy housesitting (they have a pool so it's sort of a vacation for me too!) and watching 2 cool dogs. Today was another e-word and I was at Jewel live. Tasty catfish from the deli for lunch!
Who are you pulling for in tonight's "Hit Me Baby One More Time?" Or are you watching? It's interesting seeing these 80's bands and hearing what they sound like now. Glass Tiger, Greg Kihn, Thelma Houston all perform tonight. Maybe I'll be watching poolside!

Every other day

Well, I just noticed that I seem to post here every other day. In keeping with that, here goes! Looks like a great weekend coming up, hope you have some quality time to spend with your dad. Mine passed away many years ago. You've got to cherish people while they're here.
I'm thinking of either a walk through Lincoln Gardens, on the Lost Bridge trail or maybe a canoe ride down the river. I think there's a few places that rent them. I haven't been canoeing in years. It's a great way to see nature and get some good exercise paddling too!

Pets

I live in a no-pets apartment, but if you love animals as much as I do, check out all the cool pups and kittys available for adoption at Waggin Tails Shelter across from the Fairgrounds. You can also go here WNNS to see some of the pets. Once a week, I volunteer to take one of these little guys to a local nursing home. The residents, animals and I all get a kick out of it!

2 out of 3 ain't bad

Caught parts of the Cubs/Red Sox series over the weekend. Too bad we couldn't sweep 'em, but hey these are the World Champs! It was an exciting series, now bring on the Yankees! Wow, Michael Jackson's aquittal and bad weather all in one afternoon...Monday was a busy show!
